Newly Qualified Accountant

CSC Partners Recruitment are delighted to support the development of a leading indigenous company in Cork. With a headcount of 360 and growing, this award winning business are best in class, they are looking to recruit a newly qualified accountant from a practice environment to join their finance team.  Based in Cork with onsite free parking, this role will report to the Group Financial Controller.  This position is offering a very high basic salary with benefits. 

Your new Job

• Preparing monthly accounts to Trial Balance including month end reconciliations to strict deadlines
• Preparing of monthly analysis and commentary based on budget-v-actual
• Cash Flow management and reporting
• Supporting the senior leadership team in the preparation of business planning
• Updating and maintaining all finance related controls and procedures
• Part of a continuous process with the team around ensuring best practice
• Review of business stock on a continuous basis
• Overseeing Debtors and Creditors
• Completing all statutory returns as required
• Supervising staff
• Working on adhoc project and financial analysis as required

You will be:

• A newly qualified Accountant – ICAI, ACCA, CPA coming from large practice or Big 4
• Have a keen eye for detail and be able to multitask
• A good team player, flexible and enthusiastic and be able to work on own initiative
• Used to working in a fast paced environment but support and training will be given
• Excellent working knowledge of MS office, strong oral and written communication skills
