Accountant – Newly Qualfied – Cork

CSC Partners is working with a leading accountancy and advisory firm based in Cork, with onsite parking, to source a newly qualified Accountant. This role reports to a Manager, as well as a Director of a strong division of the firm. The successful candidate will deliver the full remit of Finance duties whilst gaining exposure to a portfolio of quality client. This is an ideal opportunity for a recently qualified accountant to gain hands-on experience. Proficiency in MS office are key skill requirements, as much of the data will be exported into excel for analysis. You will need to be proficient in monthly accounts preparation and balance sheet reconciliations as well as financial accounting.

Your new role:

• You will be given the opportunity to design, plan and implement audit/accounts processes from the beginning through to completion stage
• Assisting your clients with various queries
• Ensuring the completion of assignments within appropriate budget and timeframe
• Ensuring quality in delivering client service by directing daily progress of fieldwork, reporting directly to the Managers and keeping clients involved and updated on your progress
• Completion of Accounts / Audit files within agreed timeframes and technical standards
• Supervision and assistance of junior staff members
